Oh, I'm liking this rather a lot. It's a fantastic little universe, the characters are so very themselves, and your prose is very pleasant to read.

The only bit I'm not sure about are the short scenes with Watson in the hospital. They do add something to the overall atmosphere, but I can't help but think that maybe they would work better in a more visual medium.
