You know what? That's actually a very fair criticism. I think I had just read a lot of fanfic and did, indeed, fall into the "Haley is a bitch" trap. You're right that Reid is not judgmental that way. Even if this is a stream of consciousness insight, I think that you're correct in that Reid would not hold that sort of belief.
