EXACTLY what I thought, to the letter. Not to mention that Dumbledore knew he was going to die and we know this because he passed all those memories onto Harry and had him accompany him on a dangerous mission so he would know exactly what he was facing alone.
I do not think Snape is evil at all, I think he's just made the biggest sacrifice of his life.
