I totally understand being sentimental about fictional characters (I'm still gutted when I think of Torchwood and the fact that they killed three out of five main characters within essentially four episodes). You get invested in these characters, you know, and they become a part of you. So, yeah, I totally get sentimental about them (one of the reasons I'm so upset with CBS' actions, notwithstanding the fact that poor AJ is out of a job, is that we're losing a part of our 'family').

Okay, that went off on a tangent.

Anyway, I'm SO glad you liked this. Morgan's observations were actually the starting point for the whole piece; his realization as Hotch's eyes flutter shut before the kiss as to just how much Spencer and Aaron really rely on each other. Everything else just kind of flowed from there.
