Thank you! While this little fic was was quite sweet and soppy (as my Holmes/Watson fics usually are), you're right -- there is usually tentativeness to this pairing, especially first time anything stories. It probably has to do with the time period in which the canon takes place -- homosexuality was quite illegal in late Victorian England (this is the period of time in which Oscar Wilde is imprisoned). However, the really fun thing about the original stories is just how close Holmes and Watson actually are -- it's almost as if Arthur Conan Doyle was a secret slasher (which I'm sure he would have denied vehemently).

Anyway, as you are one of my absolutely favorite Snarry writers, I'm thrilled that you liked my fic.
