I cannot, cannot express to you how much I enjoyed this fic (I read it on Excessant, but went looking for your LJ for proper commentage).
I hope you don't mind, but I posted a longish, tearful, weepy, rambling rec of this fic on my LJ here (http://crashcart9.livejournal.com/387084.html). To boil it all down, this is not a story that I'm going to forget anytime soon (I read it in bed and had to flip my pillow over afters, you had me so much in tears). I didn't pick out individual bits like I usually would in my reviews since I wanted to keep the rec fairly spoiler free, but even if I tried I'm not sure that I could, for the entire thing played such delicious havoc with my emotions and worked so perfectly well that I'd end up quoting the entire fic.
Anyway, a relative newbie to the Sherlock Holmes fandom (December 21st, xD--right around 10pm when I got home from the movie freaking out and began scouring the internet, LOL) would like to thank you from the very bottom of her not-usually-a-crier heart for the brilliance that is this piece. You played my emotions like Sherlock's Stradivarius and for that I'm in utter awe of your writing skills. My most humble praises and gratitude be upon you, oh master of words ;)
