I just wanted to make sure that the setting was right, and when I found out that Netley, where Watson had trained, was still in existence during WWI, I just knew that was the place. Yes, I can imagine poor Watson writing his heart out to his friend, and also just "knowing" how Holmes would respond. So glad you liked this... and I promise more... soon(ish).
