I never really know what to say in these kinds of situations except the trivial 'I'm sorry.' I hate the fact that many times if you don't live near the area of the disaster and only see it on the news, it doesn't feel real. I've never been to New Orleans but I know it's an amazing city with a lot of history. I'm hoping that things will turn out and that most of the damage can be repaired.
