Really well written piece, setting out perfectly the dilemma that Snape might well face in canon. But, we know (ok, canon-wise - we assume) Albus trusted him to do what was right, rather than what was easy, and so, I tend to think he will make the right choice again. And, perhaps the fact that he did the right thing in the end will be enough to save him. Terrific job hon, thank you so much. *hugs*
