Venting. Stupid thief. Stupid neighbors.

Just needed to vent.

I share a garage with two other apartments in my building. And said garage was broken into last night. Guess who was the only one who had something stolen? Go on... guess.

Now granted, it was just my bicycle and not my car. But it's still damn annoying.

And to top it off, I also found out that this is the second garage break-in in just a few months. It seems that my neighbor came home one night while another break-in was in progress and scared the thief off. But could anyone in my building be bothered to tell me that my garage was not safe? Noooooo... of course they couldn't.

WTF?

Telling me would mean having to be courteous, wouldn't it? And heaven forbid that my neighbors could be fucking courteous.

*sigh*

I'm feeling mighty pissed off now. Just in case you couldn't tell.

I think I need to go read some Snarry fics to cheer up.

Aww daylyn! the gits! the buggers! the sods!!!!
I'm sorry you lost your bike.
It's no consolation, but it can be the same everywhere. When we lived in Kettering (Northamptonshire) *spits on Kettering* our neighbour heard burglars in the house and never phoned the police. Didn't want to get involved!
Needless to say, we moved..
Go and read some nice Snarry. if you want something to make you smile, and you haven't already, check out my 2 alphabets...

They didn't call the police?! The mind boggles... I'd be speechless, but I know that people are such unbelievable arses sometimes.

And I will definitely check out your alphabets, although I'll probably do it tomorrow since it's currently 1:40am and I think I should try and get some sleep now.

Did I tell you how much I loved the end of your post-HBP Snarry fic. No, I probably didn't. Bad, bad me. I'll review tomorrow. I promise.

And thanks for consoling me. I definitely needed it.

The neighbous didn't even tell you?!?! That's - very odd, to put it mildly.
I'm sorry your bike was stolen *hugs*

[identity profile] daylyn.livejournal.com 2006-04-05 08:43 am (UTC)(link)
And it's not like it's a big building. There are only six units, and only three share that garage. It's not like I'm hard to find or anything. Just a quick, "Hey, btw, the garage was broken into. Might want to keep anything valuable elsewhere," would have done the trick.

*still seething at neighbors*

Thanks for the hugs. Definitely needed it.

Oh, man that sucks! I am sorry they got your bike. *wibs* Hopefully (yeah, I know wishful thinking) they will catch the rat! :(

*hugs and drops off some Snarry for you*

Good author, just beware of the ones with mpreg (quite a few of them *wrinkles nose*).

[identity profile] daylyn.livejournal.com 2006-04-05 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)
*hugs back*

Thanks. I think I'm most annoyed by the fact that the effing neighbors couldn't even be bothered to tell me about the previous break-in.

*sigh*

Oooh... Snarry. *drools* I have to rush off and read those. But... mpreg?! Ew... Those I will avoid like the plague, since in my already annoyed mood my head would probably explode.

Although, maybe that's not such a bad thing...

*huggles* poor dear. you should move to this coast. it snowed today, then rained, then cleared up. in april. ^_^

*huggles back* Thanks. I needed that.

You know, I'd gloat about our L.A. weather, but it's been really crappy lately. It's rained... a lot (for us). It's been cold (for us) and dreary (for us). Now it's windy. Really, really windy.

But still, there's nothing quite like East Coast weather. I'd say it's the number one reason that I don't move back to NY.

Try to stay warm and dry!

[identity profile] pirate-chick69.livejournal.com 2006-04-06 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
warm i can mannage dear (nice icon!) dry isn't so easy....

Sorry to hear that. That sucks. Our car got robbed before but it was more of a funny situation. The burglars stole all of our groceries but left the car and grapefruit. Only took the junkfood.

But yeah. It is really annoying when it happens. Did you phone the police about it?

Rude neighbors are the worst. My old one used to have his dog shit.. ONLY on our lawn. lol.

Sorry, I don't read snarry, so I don't have any recs, but regardless, I hope you're feeling better. And I hope you get your bike back.

Btw, your fic with Arrmaitee was BRILLIANT. <3 *hugs and friends* ... my old account was [livejournal.com profile] green_loofa but I made a new one... so may I be friended back (if it's not too much trouble)? You can delete my old account if you want.

[identity profile] daylyn.livejournal.com 2006-04-17 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you so much! I immediately friended you back.

I'm so glad you enjoyed our fic. [livejournal.com profile] arrmaitee and I really have fun writing these crack!fics slash parodies.

Sadly, my bicycle is a lost cause. *sigh* And the annoying neighbor is still as annoying as ever *double sigh*

But at least Harry's quest can make me laugh.

Cheers!

[identity profile] loofa-serpent.livejournal.com 2006-04-17 05:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks! =D and I really enjoy reading your fics. XD crack!fics? LOL. They're the best.

Btw, I ADORE your icon. <3

Aww, sorry to hear that your bike's a lost cause. *pats back* and hopefully your neighbor gets some manners and learns courtesy.

Take care!
