Oh I know you didn't! Gah, internet and tone of voice loss :p Believable situations/thoughts/etc make stories all the better. I'm all about angst (although I want happy endings!) so the comment didn't bother me at all. It just hit me how very true the sentiment is. I'm sure there's a lot of people out there who have similar thoughts. It just breaks my heart. :\
