Drabble (exactly 100 words) for my Drabble Meme (still taking requests, btw).
Written for
sherlock2040 who requested Sherlock Holmes/John Watson - prompt: 'penguin', 'marshmallow' and 'sheep'
----
“Of course, the penguin gave him away.”
“Now I know you’re making this up, Holmes. There is no way there was a penguin in the sheep field.”
“Watson, have some faith. The penguin had escaped and run wild.”
“Don’t you mean waddled wild? Really Holmes.”
“Why would I fabricate my tale?”
“To make me crazed?”
“If that was my goal, Watson, I would do that thing with my tongue.”
“Promises, promises. You—mmmm. Oh yes, do that thing with your tongue again.”
“Watson.”
“Yes.”
“You taste like marshmallow.”
“Good. Come here and have desert.”
“What a splendid idea, dear fellow.”

Date: 2010-02-04 02:22 pm (UTC)See, Holmes and Watson are in Australia, where an eccentric sheep farmer believes that extraterrestrials are plotting to steal his flock. Turns out that some unknown mad scientist is using a mind control device on the coastal penguin populations to make them march inland and...I don't know, practice for when he takes over the world.
This sounds like a bad radio play from the '40's, in which case, the villain is Moriarty and he'll try to kidnap Watson or kill Holmes an an embarrassingly cheesy way.
