Woo hoo! One of my fics has been translated into French!

How cool is this? One of my fics, A Cry in the Dark, has been translated into French by Miss Zabini. Check it out. I feel pretty amazed (and honored) that somebody would actually take the time to translate something that I wrote.

Also, check out my new Snape mood theme, created by [livejournal.com profile] _noesumeragi_. I spent several hours yesterday getting these up and running, thus proving I have no life. I think they look pretty cool and they complete the Snape theme for my LJ. (And yes, I probably do need help. Can’t you just see that support meeting? “Hi, I’m Daylyn and I’m a Snape-a-holic.” *shudders*) Nonetheless, [livejournal.com profile] _noesumeragi_ did a great job finding pictures that fit the moods, and deserves credit for all the hard work.

It was a long, arduous process. The theme creator included instructions, but for some reason they didn't work they way they should. So then I tried to upload each mood picture through this mood uploading thing, but that also didn't work. But I did get my mood ID # there. Then, having that mood ID #, I went back to the directions and tried to upload everything through the LJ admin console site. Of course, you guessed it, that didn't work. In fact, it refused to work even though the LJ FAQ's said that it should work. So then I closed all of my open windows, and tried again. And, miracle of miracles, it worked.

I'd be happy to email you the instructions that I have. Maybe they'll work easier for you.

But the good news is that, just when I was about to give up, it all worked out and I got my Snape mood themes. Yay!

Those are cool mood themes. After putting in all that hard work, you definitely want to get them up and running.

I just emailed you the instructions that I had on how to upload a mood theme. Hopefully you can modify it and make it work for you.

Wow, French. That's so cool. :D Nothing wrong with being a Snape-a-holic. ;)

I know. I was pretty shocked and very pleased. And being a Snape-a-holic rocks! Snape is just so intriguing.

Love you icon, btw.

Ha! That's so awesome. I'd print it out and take it to my french prof, but she'd probably just stare at me like, "You read gay Harry Potter porn??"

LMAO! My French prof was this older man, and I can just imagine his face if I had brought gay Harry Potter porn to his class. Ahhh... lost opportunities.
