And while there are still many issues with Six Apart and Livejournal's actions, right now I'm quite happy that fandom -- lots of fandoms -- got together to let The Powers That Be know what was important to them.

Hi there! Our fandom does indeed kick arse.

I'm actually doing OK -- still sorting out some things in my life, but actually doing better than I had been in quite some time. How are you doing? Have you gotten settled in with your move? (which was ages ago, I know, but I haven't been around much lately).

Eh, settled is a relative term I suppose. Am unpacked mostly though ;). Indiana has to be the most boring place alive and I can't wait to get back to the south bouroughs of Boston LOL. But other than that, can't complain about RL. :D

Yep, RL definitely needs a kick in the butt, or at least I do. I really, really, really need to make a professional change which, I think, will impact quite a bit of the rest of my life. Now I just need a kick in the arse to do so.

Hmmm... Indiana, huh? I don't know much about Indiana excepting driving through it on my way across the country (sad, I know). I remember it being very green. But you being mostly unpacked in a big accomplishment. When you finally unpack the last box, then you're officially moved in. (I've spent years in places before that ever happened -- I think I still have boxes that I just move from place to place).
